The Test

Before semester tests are given,
As I gather all my test materials,
When my headaches start to get worse,
While I sit at my computer screen,
I pray that I make a good grade.

After the tests are taken,
While I pretend it doesn't bother me,
Although the headaches are gone,
Before we get the test results,
All I pray for is that I did my best.

¼ of Senior Year

My senior year started off pretty good. It was easy and moving fairly fast. I was doing good and not getting into any trouble until one day...it was a bad day and it kept getting worse. I didnt want to be at skool and I didnt want to go to my next class so i skipped. I skipped and got caught and definately paid the price. I got suspended from shcool and hated it. My mom was mad. More mad than I have ever seen and she showed it. She made me work from morning to night. But it was a lot worse so I was glad. When it was all over I said my sorries and continued with school and havn't been in trouble since.

Book Review: Skeleton Creek

Have you ever had a horrible nightmare? Then it actually come true? Well in this book something similar happens to Ryan, a young boy from a small town in the mountains. He and his best friend Sara go exploring in an old miming factory and barely make ot out alive.

I would say that the theme of this book would be give up while you are ahead. Ryan and Sara came in contact with the spirit of a man who died while working at the factory. The spirit told them over and over again to leave and never come back but they didnt listen and almost died because of it. In the end they decided to go back to figure out what happened. you would think after almost dying they would stay away but they obviously didnt learn thier lesson.

The authurs writing style made it very clear and easy to read this bood. The bood was written as if it was someones personal jurnal. It was short and to the point which made the book fairly short only being a little over one hundred pages.

The setting in this book is very simple. A lot of mountains and cold weather. Ryans parents moved to the mountains thinking it would keep him out of trouble but they were wrong. The hilly terain made it hard for Ryan to get around after he broke his leg but he was so curious that he made it work.

Overall i think this was a very good book and would suggest you read it if you like action and thrill-filled books.

Homecoming

Homecoming week was like any other week for me. I woke up and went to school just like a normal day. I never really dress up for homecoming week. Its not my type of thing im just boring and old school i guess.

Courage

I think the statement is true because it takes responsibility to have courage. There arnt alot of people in the world who take responsibilty for what they do. Life is all about responsibility and to me if you are not responsible then you are nothing. Like all these people that have babies and just leave them on thier own...thats just sick. People just need to step up and do thier jobs.

Theme for Night

I think the theme for Night would be faith. Even though Elie went through alot during the Holocaust he still had faith and believed that him and hos family would make it out alive. He was a very brave boy.

Symbol of Darkness

Darkness as a symbol to me would be like a skeleton or bones....something dead. But there are other things that represent darkness like the behavior or actions of another person. During the Holocaust the Nazi people were very mean and disrespectful to the jewish people and to me that was very dark and evil...
